Eva M. Vivian, PharmD, BCPS, CDE, BC-ADM

is the Board Liaison to the ABHP Council on Student Affairs. Dr. Vivian is Clinical Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Vivian received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her BS degree from Illinois Benedictine College. She completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency and a Primary Care Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, San Francisco and San Diego, California. Dr.  Vivian is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management, Certified Diabetes Educator, and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Her teaching responsibilities are in the area of pharmacotherapy, with an emphasis on diabetes and hypertension.  

Dr. Vivian has authored several articles and book chapters regarding the management of diabetes and hypertension. She has served as a diabetes consultant for several pharmaceutical companies, and principal or subinvestigator for clinical studies of diabetes mellitus and hypertension treatment. She is a peer reviewer for the Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Clinical Therapeutics, Ethnicity and Disease, and Diabetes Educator.  Dr Vivian has lectured at medical meetings, conferences, and symposia in the United States.  Dr. Vivian is a member of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, California Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Association of Diabetes Educators, and American Diabetes Association.
